The Language of Meaning: Why Science Cannot Replace Religion (2018): This book is the definitive, systematic presentation of my philosophy of religion. Everything on this site revolves around this book.
The Viking Spirit: An Introduction to Norse Mythology and Religion (2016): I intended this book to be the best introduction to the historical pre-Christian religion and mythology of the Vikings out there – and, in my obviously not-impartial opinion, it succeeds in that. It’s written to professional scholarly standards, but in an accessible, entertaining style for a general audience.
The Love of Destiny: The Sacred and the Profane in Germanic Polytheism (2013): This was a long essay that I published in book form several years ago. It’s an overview of the pre-Christian Germanic worldview as I saw it at the time. I now consider this to be more or less juvenilia, and I don’t promote or recommend it anymore. It’s not representative of my current thinking on anything.
